Information Technology is the latest discipline of science and technology gathering momentum to amalgamate the advance technologies toward fulfilling the modern needs of the society.  This incorporates the latest developments of science and technology to understand the complexity of biological systems, diagnose the physiological and pathological disorders along with the design and development of diagnostic and rehabilitative techniques. The field of Information Technology has evolved at a phenomenal pace in the last few years.

Jeddah National Hospital  IT services, however has successfully re-organized to meet the new demands of Information Technology and has continued to offer  wide range of  services to the users. These services include hardware and software support, development of new software, management of Internet, and E-Mail facilities and support of existing hospital applications that span across almost all the departments of the hospital.

JNH is in the process of implementing a new computer software (HMS MEDIPLUS) in it's all areas of functioning. While most of the out patient departments are already covered by this novel system, soon it will be extended to the in-patient departments as well, thus facilitating speedy work process. the project is spearheaded by Mr Abdul Salam Ahmed Kannu.
