In Patient Wards

There are three inpatient wards and 2 VIP suites. All wards deliver the same service.

Admission to the wards are through one of the following routes:

1. Elective admission which has been pre-booked with the appropriate ward.

2. Admission from Outpatient Department.

3. Admission from Emergency Clinic

4. Transfer from Delivery Room or Operating Theatre.

The wards are managed by the Ward Staff Nurse in Charge. The establishment of staff includes midwives, staff nurses, auxiliary nurses. The Staff Nurses are responsible for the day to day management of the ward: monitoring and supervising the standards of care ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, identifying training needs of individual members of staff, and supervising the use of clinical resources.

There are medical social workers helps patients with advance directives and other long-term care issues. They assure that patients’ medically related emotional and social needs are met and maintained throughout their medical treatment.
