The Maintenance Department of Jeddah National Hospital is responsible for ensuring a safe and operational reliability and quick response to the failure of utilities that supports the patient care environment. The standard for the utility system management is nearly zero occurrence of serious injury or death to a patient or staff member resulting from failure or malfunction of a critical utility system. The department is headed by a maintenance supervisor with the following wide range of functions: |
2. Mechanical and electrical maintenance
3. Periodic preventive maintenance
4. Landscaping and ground mechanism
5. Elevator maintenance
6. Plumbing, water supply and sanitary system
7. Electrical system including machinery, power, lighting, emergency generators, and refrigerator maintenance.
8. Communication system - including overhead paging system
