This includes information regarding the individual patient, the care provided, the outcomes of care and the performance of the organization.  Due to the collaborative nature of the provision of care, all activities performed are coordinated and integrated throughout all departments and services.  It is because of this dependent relationship that information is an important resource that is to be used effectively and efficiently managed.  In keeping with the mission statement of Jeddah National Hospital, it is felt that information management is a key component in providing high quality patient care.

The Management of Information of Jeddah National Hospital provides a framework for assessing the data and use of information within JNH for safe of patient care, it supports decision making, improves patient outcomes, improves health care documentation, assures patient safety and improves the performance in patient care, treatment and services and governance, management and support processes. The leadership can use the information to take decisions, make a strategic plan and for identifying and prioritizing quality improvement projects.
